Enzymes

  Enzyme function: Hydrolyzes (breaks down) starch.
  One FAU unit will dextrinize soluble starch at 1 gram/hour at 30°C, pH 4.8.

• Cellulase (Aspergillus oryzae, Trichoderma longibrachiatum) min 22,000 CU/lb.
  Enzyme function: Breaks down cellulose.
  One cellulase unit (CU) produces a relative fluidity change of 1 in 5 minutes in a carboxymethyl cellulose substrate at pH 4.5 and 40°C.

  Enzyme function: Hydrolyzes (breaks down) amino acid proteins.
  One HUT unit produces a hydrolysate with the same absorbance at 275 nm as a solution containing 1.10 ug/ml tyrosine in 0.006N HCL.

• Offer free choice preferably in a weather protected mineral feeder.

• Feed to beef cattle on pasture.

• Note: follow these start up instructions when first offering this product

• Animals need to become accustomed to eating this product free choice. They will normally over consume the daily amount when first offered the product. Start by either hand feeding 4 ozs. per head daily in the mineral feeder or add salt 1 lb. salt per 3 lbs of product and offer free choice. Once the animals catch up on their mineral needs, they will back off on consumption and allow you to feed the product free choice as intended.

• Normal consumption for adult beef cattle is 2 to 4 ozs daily depending on the weather, forage quality and animal’s production stage.

• Always offer clean fresh water.

• Do not feed to sheep.
