Safe
All Priefert products pass a rigorous safety standard. Not only do our products have to be safe for animals, but they must be safe for their owners as well. Our Estate Fence offers the strength of steel for confinement with no sharp edges or barbs to potentially injure animals or their handlers.

Durable
Priefert Estate Fence is not only an attractive solution, but it is also a practical solution thanks to its durability. With its all-metal construction, Estate Fencing can handle the pressure of safely containing livestock for many years where other fence solutions tend to deteriorate over time. Priefert gives you the rail option of either 13 or 16 gauge galvanized steel tubing, and each post is constructed from heavy duty octagonal galvanized steel tubing with a domed top. Both rails and posts offer an architectural grade of powder coat, ensuring strength and longevity. No other fence can withstand the elements, animal pressure, or the test of time like Priefert Fence.

Dual-Layer Protection
Beginning with galvanized metal, Priefert tubing is passed through a phosphate wash, cleansing the metal of any impurities that may impede the finish. A conversion coating is then applied for added adhesion. Finally, the tubing is powder coated using a high-quality architectural grade powder with UV inhibitors to help resist fading. The final step in manufacturing is for the powder to be baked on at high temperature which helps achieve a furniture grade finish. This means your fence will hold its color and be virtually maintenance free for many years.

Posts
Priefert Estate Fencing posts are constructed from 12 gauge octagonal galvanized tubing with a domed top and a beautiful black powder coat finish. This dual layer protection from the elements ensures that these posts are built to last. Available in 3, 4, and 5 rail options, Estate Fence Posts are created with custom rolled and pressed galvanized steel inserts. Similar in design to the drilled post of the Ponderosa, these inserts allow the rail of the fence to flow seamlessly with the curvature of the fence or over the elevation changes of your land, all with no welding required. This innovative design is livestock safe and looks great in any environment.

Rails
Priefert offers two rail options, allowing you to select either 16 or 13 gauge tubing. Our durable 16 gauge tubing comes in lengths of 14 feet. Our heavier 13 gauge tubing is available in lengths of 16 feet. Both options are constructed from galvanized material and then powder coated with an architectural grade powder to ensure maximum outdoor life. Each end of the rail features Priefert’s unique swedge connection technology, which helps create the illusion of a single rail run from one end of your fence to the other. Regardless of which option you choose, these rails are durable, long-lasting, and low maintenance. Best of all, there is no welding required for installation.

Swedge
Priefert’s rail-in-rail “swedge” design allows you to construct a fence with the appearance of a single rail running from end to end without any welding. This design creates a beautiful fence that flows with the contour of your land and around corners. This unique swedge design also allows your fence to expand and contract without buckling in extreme temperatures.

Receivers & Fittings
Priefert offers three types of receivers to allow you to lay out your Estate Fence design into the configuration that best fits your needs or desires. The traditional receiver creates a connection of the rail to the post when the rail meets one of the flat sides of the octagonal post. For instances where the rail approaches the post at one of its corners, or angles, we have an angled receiver allows for the secure connection of the rail to the post. The third connector is designed for use with our 5-rail fence option to allow the top rail to connect very near the top of the domed post. Using the same concept as the “swedge” tubing connection, the Estate post connectors allow for expansion and contraction, as well as versatility in the layout of your fence. These unique receivers allow for the end of the tubing to be cut to exact length and for the connector to slide into the tubing. Our fence experts can help you determine which components will be required for the installation of your Estate Fence.

Configurations
Estate Fence is available in 3-rail, 4-rail, or 5-rail configurations. Our 3-rail design features a 14” rail spacing, while the 4-rail option uses a spacing of 12” between rails. For both of these configurations, the top rail is designed to stand at 52” high. In the 5-rail layout, the top rail is designed to fall approximately 1.5” below the top of the fence post dome and then uses 12” rail spacings below that. This configuration is ideal for use in permanent arena setups. All rails and posts feature a black architectural grade powder coat finish over galvanized steel.
