Priefert offers a variety of gate latches designed to fit gates that are constructed from 2” OD or smaller tubing. The Sliding Tucker Latch is a great option for gates where only ground access is required. Our Single and Double Piston Lever Latches are ideal for gates where the ability to open and close gates from horseback is desired. We also offer additional Latch Receivers that can be used with any of our latches. Each latch and receiver features an Architectural Grade Powder Coat Finish that helps the product to resist rust, scratches, and fading to add years of life to your investment.

Heavy duty! The latches, Bolt-on Single Piston Lever Latch, are well built and heavy duty. Could be used on a bull pen. Bit of a tight fit at the forward U-bolt that interferes with the gate triangle chain catch... Requires a bit of grinding of the weld on the triangle gate chain catch. Otherwise installed easily and quickly. There is a bolt that secures the wraparound handle, nice feature, allows the handle to be more compact and safe. If you are looking for this latch to be a security latch, it will not satisfy your needs since it can easily be removed with a standard wrench. Recommend? Yes, excellent quality.

I think the latch works well. U bolts could have been longer to accommodate 2” heavy duty gates. Was a pain to install. Ordered extra latch receivers and they didn't come with lags like the one with the kit.
This gate latch is just about perfect for a double swing gate. With two latch receivers, it holds the gates in alignment. The components are well made and heavy duty. We're engineered well, so it functions properly without issue. Probably the last gate latch we'll ever need.
